GMC 4000 Pickup :
The GMC 4000 sustained a new, more modern look introduced by GMC two years earlier, but it was closer than the appearance of its Chevrolet counterparts.General Motors Corp. will give suppliers a major hand in the engineering and production of Chevrolet’s SSR pickup high-level GM manufacturing sources.GMC also redesigned its trucks, In differences were confined to minor variations in grille treatment, equipment, and mechanical specifications. Plenty of improvements went inside, too.Enough to keep brochure writers working overtime. Comfort and convenience got more emphasis than ever, and in future years the market’s demand for truck like amenities would prove increasingly important. GMC boasted of door openings inches wider than those on pwer models.

Dodge 3500SLT Pickup :
The Dodge 3500SLT pickup traced its design roots, when Dodge bravely risked an expensive restyle. Chevrolet, Dodge, and Nissan number among the truck manufacturers who have added four-door pickups to their lineup. While overall truck sales increased modestly in that devastated economy, the Dodge Series HC was exactly what the market wanted: The successor of Dodge Series , was little changed in styling, which obviously was the correct decision, but it was improved mechanically.A standard-wheel-base pickup , which happened to be the same price as a half-ton Ford. Prices were low, because hardly anything was standard.Dodge restyled the light truck line and rode to even greater success, but the recession cut volume short again. The Dodge 3500SLT pickup was clearly one of the most successful Dodge trucks of a dreary decade.

Mitsubishi Fuso Shows Concept of Its Eco-Hybrid Medium Duty Cabover Work Truck :

Mitsubishi Fuso has developed a unique hybrid electric vehicle (HEV).The new Fuso hybrid electric commercial truck combines a small, clean-burning diesel engine, an ultra-slim electric motor/generator. The result is a medium duty truck that achieves up to 30% better fuel economy in delivery applications and also produces significantly less emissions than its standard diesel.The new Mitsubishi Fuso Canter Eco Hybrid features a parallel hybrid system, that incorporates the company’s latest advancements to deliver ecologically responsible, economical performance. The electric motor is used to drive the vehicle when starting off. During hard acceleration, both the diesel engine and electric motor/generator power the vehicle. When cruising, the vehicle is driven by the diesel engine only, like a conventional vehicle. When slowing down or braking, the electric motor/generator functions as a generator to brake the vehicle. The generator converts brake energy into electric energy and stores it in the lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery for the next moving off or acceleration. This vehicle shows the technological capabilities and environmental dedication associated with the Fuso brand.

Stewart Panel and Dump Truck

Stewart was a small regional maker of  light  and medium-duty trucks. Stewart built good trucks, including the  Stewart panel and dump truck. It had the distinction of building its own high quality bodies. Stewart never competed with volume makers like Ford or Chevrolet, or anyother. But it affected  some competition to low production builders.By 1935, seeking low end sales in a depressed market,For those who needed more power and speed, the stewart trucks had plenty of power to handle normal highway speeds, and the 1 tonners shared clean lines with their handsome Buddy based little brother.The  Ford trucks are the utility versions of one of history’s most important motor vehicles.

A dump truck is very useful. This construction vehicle is used to carry many different things at a construction site and it comes in all shapes and sizes.It is not very compicated. Dump trucks typically have one cylinder or a pair of cylinders that lift the bed. The only unique thing about these cylinders is that they often telescope, giving them a very long range of motion. A dump truck is truck used for transporting loose material  for construction. A typical dump truck is equipped with a  operated open-box bed , the front of which can be lifted up to allow the contents to be deposited on the ground behind the truck at the site of delivery. In the UK the term applies to off-road construction plant only, and the road vehicle is known as a tipper or tipper lorry.A standard dump truck is a full truck chassis with a dump body mounted to the frame.

The term ‘Dump’ Truck is not generally used by the mining industry, or by the manufacturers that build these machines. The more appropriate  for this strictly off road vehicle is, ‘Haul’ truck and the equivalet European term is ‘Dumper’. The classification bottom and side for example, describes how the loaded material is discharged once loaded. This large capacity truck is used for the transportation of coal from a loading device directly to a power station or bulk storage area.Dump truck drivers who can also operate heavy machinery will find it much easier to find work with any construction company.Dump trucks aren’t really made for speed, they’re more the workhorse of the trucking industry and as such, dump truck drivers usually work within a set area. It’s uncommon for dump trucks to be out on the highway when transporting their loads.
